About O3O Office
O3O Office is an office suite developed and maintained in Vietnam by o3o.vn for businesses, public bodies and individuals who need a complete, stable word processor, spreadsheet, presentation and PDF toolset that is compatible with Microsoft Office formats and fully localised in Vietnamese.

Technology heritage
O3O Office inherits the StarOffice line (StarDivision, Germany, 1985), open-sourced by Sun Microsystems in 2000 as OpenOffice.org under MPL/LGPL licences. On that foundation o3o.vn rebuilt the tabbed interface, localised the product, and added licensing, automatic updates, background preloading and integration with the o3o ecosystem.
