Fleet deployment
msiexec /i "O3O-Office-26.8.4-win64.msi" /qn /norestart ALLUSERS=1
- Group Policy: assign the MSI under Computer Configuration → Software Installation.
- SCCM / Intune / other tools: use the command line above; exit code 0 is success, 3010 means a restart is pending.
- Upgrade: install the new version over the old one; user settings are preserved.
- Uninstall:
msiexec /x "O3O-Office-26.8.4-win64.msi" /qn.

Security and compliance
- Documents are processed locally; outbound connections are limited to update checks, licence verification and ad delivery (free edition) and can be blocked at the firewall without affecting editing.
- Machines are identified by a one-way hash of the Windows machine identifier; no user names, document content or file lists are collected.
- OpenDocument (ISO/IEC 26300) for long-term archiving; PDF digital signatures with organisational certificates.
