Terms of use

Effective 14 September 2026 for the O3O Office software, the office.o3o.vn website and associated services (licensing, updates, feedback). Together with the licence, the privacy policy and the payment and refund policy, this document forms the agreement between you and o3o.vn. The Vietnamese version at office.o3o.vn/dieu-khoan prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Definitions

  • Software: O3O Office including O3O Doc, Sheet, Slide, PDF, the background process, the installer and updates.
  • Services: the website, licensing system, update checks, free-edition ads and the feedback page.
  • User: any individual or organisation installing or using the Software or Services.
  • Licence key: a string issued by o3o.vn to activate the licensed edition.

2. Acceptance

By installing or using the Software or accessing the Services you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms. If you act on behalf of an organisation you warrant that you are authorised to bind it.

3. Right of use

You may install and use the Software for lawful purposes under the licence. You must not (a) remove or alter copyright notices or trademarks; (b) interfere with or disable the licensing, advertising or update mechanisms; (c) use the Software to infringe the law or third-party rights; (d) exploit defects in the Services to obtain licences.

4. Licences

  • A purchase is confirmed by a bank transfer to o3o.vn's account with the system-generated reference; the licence activates automatically when the amount and reference match.
  • You are responsible for providing a correct e-mail address, phone number and, for companies, tax code to receive the key, certificate and invoice.
  • A key may be used only on the number of computers purchased. o3o.vn may revoke keys that are shared publicly, obtained by fraudulent transactions or used in breach of these terms; the Software then returns to the free edition.

5. Free edition and advertising

The free edition shows an advertisement at application start-up, skippable after 10 seconds, including when offline. Ads are curated by o3o.vn and collect nothing beyond impression counts.

6. Your documents and data

Documents you create belong to you. The Software processes them on your computer and sends no content to servers unless you actively use online storage or attach files on the feedback page. Technical data collected and its purposes are described in the privacy policy.

7. Updates

o3o.vn publishes updates periodically; the Software checks and pre-downloads them, and installation is your decision. Licensed editions receive updates for the duration of the plan. Older versions are no longer supported 12 months after the next release.

8. Feedback page

Content, images and files you submit are used to resolve issues and improve the product; you undertake not to submit third-party confidential information or unlawful content. Stars and the hall of fame are at o3o.vn's discretion and create no financial obligation.

9. Intellectual property

Trademarks, logos, interface, documentation and code developed by o3o.vn belong to o3o.vn. Open-source components belong to their respective authors and are licensed under their own terms.

10. Limitation of liability

The Software and Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, o3o.vn is not liable for data loss, indirect damage, lost profits or business interruption. o3o.vn's aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for licences in the preceding 12 months. Please back up important documents.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify o3o.vn against losses arising from your breach of these terms or of applicable law while using the Software.

12. Termination

You may stop using and uninstall the Software at any time. o3o.vn may terminate licensed use upon material breach; clauses on intellectual property, liability and governing law survive termination.

13. Changes

o3o.vn may update these terms; the new version is published on this page with its effective date. Material adverse changes for licensed users are notified at least 30 days in advance by e-mail.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. The parties shall first negotiate in good faith; failing agreement within 30 days, disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Vietnam.
