Privacy policy
Effective 14 September 2026. This policy describes the data processed by O3O Office and the services at office.o3o.vn, the purposes, retention periods and your rights, in accordance with Vietnamese Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection and related regulations. The Vietnamese version at office.o3o.vn/bao-mat prevails.
1. Principles
- Your documents stay on your computer. The Software never uploads document content, file names or file lists.
- Only the minimum technical data needed for licensing, updates, free-edition ads and support is collected.
- Personal data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
2. Data sent by the Software

The machine ID is a SHA-256 hash of the Windows machine identifier; it cannot be reversed and contains no user information.
3. Data not collected
Document content, file names, paths, activity history, keystrokes, location, contacts, browser data. The Software sends no automatic crash reports.
4. The website
Access logs (IP address, time, page, browser) are kept for 30 days for operations and security. No third-party tracking cookies or analytics are used; the purchase and feedback pages use technical session cookies only.
5. Payments
Payments are bank transfers made through your own bank. o3o.vn never collects card numbers, banking passwords or credentials; the system only receives transaction notifications (amount, reference, time, transaction ID) from the receiving bank to match orders.
6. Sharing
Data is shared only with (a) the bank and its transaction-notification processor for payment reconciliation; (b) the e-invoice service provider for invoices required by law; (c) competent state authorities upon lawful request.
7. Storage and security
Data is stored on servers in access-controlled data centres, transmitted over TLS, backed up daily, and administered with strong passwords or single sign-on with audit logging. Licence keys are digitally signed and cannot be forged.
8. Your rights
You may request access, copies, correction or deletion of your personal data, withdraw consent or object to processing. Send requests to office@o3o.vn with your machine ID or registered e-mail; o3o.vn replies within 72 hours and completes requests within 30 days, except for data that must be retained under accounting and tax law.
9. Children
Purchasing and the feedback page are intended for adults and organisations. The Software collects no data that identifies children.
10. Related o3o services
Signing in at id.o3o.vn or saving files to cloud.o3o.vn is governed by the policies of those services.
11. Changes
New versions are published on this page with their effective date; material changes are announced in the Software or by e-mail.
