MORA AI now reads PDFs and email attachments
The MORA AI assistant can now read PDF files and email attachments, from Word, Excel and PowerPoint files to PDFs and CSVs. Just ask something like “summarize the contract attached to the email from our supplier” and the assistant opens the file, reads it and answers. Files are processed in an isolated sandbox, documents marked as Confidential (MẬT) are refused outright, and personal identifiers continue to be masked before processing.

MORA AIRead PDF files
The assistant reads PDFs that have a text layer: PDFs exported from Word, MORA Office, web browsers and PDF printers, as well as scanned PDFs that have been through text recognition. Content is tagged by page number, tables keep their columns, Vietnamese diacritics come through correctly, and form fields and annotations are read too. This works both for a single file and for entire folders in MORA Cloud.
MORA AIRead email attachments
When reading an email, the assistant lists its attachments by number and can open each one: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument formats, PDF, plain text, CSV and HTML. Ask about a file's contents directly, without downloading it and uploading it again.
MORA AIClear messages when a file cannot be read
If a PDF is an image-only scan with no recognized text, or requires a password to open, the assistant explains why, so you know what to do next.

MORA AIEmail search ignores tone-mark placement
Vietnamese has two accepted conventions for placing tone marks on some words. When the assistant searches your mail, spellings such as “hoá đơn” and “hóa đơn” (invoice), “khoẻ” and “khỏe”, or “thuỷ” and “thủy” are treated as the same word, so no email is missed because it follows the other convention.

The assistant now correctly reports when your organization has not enabled mail access or when your sign-in session needs to be refreshed, instead of showing a generic error.

PDF files are processed in a separate process with time and memory limits, so a corrupted or deliberately malformed file cannot affect the service.
MORA AIConfidential documents refused, scans never sent as images
Emails or files marked MẬT (Confidential) are refused without being downloaded. Image-only PDF scans are never sent out as images, which prevents exposing identity documents whose details cannot be masked.
MORA AIPersonal identifiers masked in email subjects too
When summarizing or drafting replies, citizen ID numbers, card numbers and tax codes are masked in both the subject line and the body before processing; email addresses are kept so that replies reach the right person.
