Document translation with MORA AI, 3D models, handwritten comments and new commands for MORA PDF

MORA Office 26.10.4 brings Translate with MORA AI to all four apps: quickly translate a selection, or create a translated copy of an entire document without touching the original. You can now insert 3D models from .glb/.gltf files, write comments with an ink pen, and use a set of new MORA PDF commands including cover pages, drop caps, sorting paragraphs in Vietnamese alphabetical order and comparing two PDF files. The installer has also been fixed to keep fonts in place when upgrading from an earlier version, so text no longer disappears until the computer is restarted.

New features 11

MORA AITranslate a selection in all four apps

Review › Language › Translate ▾ › Translate Selection is available in MORA Doc, Sheet, Slide and PDF. The Translate dialog lets you choose the target language, preview the result, then Insert, Replace or Copy it; each action can be undone in a single step. MORA Doc preserves fields and anchored objects within paragraphs; MORA Sheet translates only text cells and skips formulas and numbers; MORA Slide and PDF translate text in text boxes, grouped shapes and tables.

MORA AITranslate an entire document, original untouched

Translate ▾ › Translate Document makes a copy, translates it section by section and opens the translated version in a new window, leaving the original document unchanged. If you close the original while translation is in progress, the job stops cleanly. Sections that hit a network error are retried up to three times; any section that still cannot be translated keeps its original text while the rest carries on, and at the end the app reports exactly how many paragraphs were not translated and why.

MORA AISafe translation of protected documents

Translation respects document restrictions: it never overwrites locked cells on a protected sheet, and it skips protected sections and deleted text in MORA Doc's track changes mode. Numbers, links and email addresses are kept verbatim and never sent to the AI model. The feature requires signing in with MORA ID (the app prompts you when needed), counts toward your account's MORA AI quota, and switches off automatically when your organization does not allow MORA AI.

GeneralInsert 3D models from glTF files

Insert › Illustrations › 3D Models ▾ › From File... is available in MORA Doc, Sheet, Slide and PDF. The app reads glTF 2.0 files (.glb, .gltf), including meshes, multi-part structures and material colors (up to 200,000 triangles), and places them on the page as a 3D scene pre-rotated to show three sides. Models are stored in MORA Office's open format and saved as images in .docx, .pptx or .xlsx so recipients can still view them. Damaged or oversized files are reported with a clear, plain-language message.

DocInk comments (handwritten)

Review › Comments › Ink Comment in MORA Doc and MORA PDF creates a comment with a drawing area above the text, so you can annotate, circle or strike through with a pen. The drawing area offers a pen, an eraser, 6 colors, 4 stroke widths, undo and clear all, with shortcuts P (pen), E (eraser), Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y. Ink comments can be replied to, resolved, copied and deleted just like regular comments.

GeneralInk comments survive .docx and PDF

When saving to .docx, ink is stored as an image in the comment, and every stroke stays editable when reopened in MORA Office; ink comment images in .docx files from other software are also recognized as ink. When exporting to PDF from MORA PDF, ink comments become PDF ink annotations, one per pen color. Software that does not support them shows the placeholder text “[Ink comment]”.

PDFSort paragraphs in Vietnamese alphabetical order

The Home › Paragraph › Sort ↓AZ button in MORA PDF sorts the paragraphs in the selected text box (or the highlighted paragraphs) according to the Vietnamese alphabet, which orders accented letters such as ă, â, đ, ê, ô, ơ and ư correctly. Sorting is case-insensitive, keeps formatting intact and moves empty paragraphs to the end. Choose ascending or descending order; undo in a single step.

PDFCover pages with three templates

Insert › Pages › Cover Page ▾ adds a cover page at the start of the document, sized to match the first page, in three MORA PDF color templates: color band, minimal and light block. Title, subtitle, author and date are filled in from the document properties. Choosing another template replaces the existing cover page, and Remove Current Cover Page takes it out when it is no longer needed.

PDFDrop caps

Insert › Text › Drop Cap ▾ offers three options: None, Dropped (a first letter three lines tall with text wrapped around it) and In Margin (the first letter set in the left margin), giving PDF documents a book or magazine look. Undo in a single step.

PDFCompare two PDF files

Review › Compare ▾ compares the open document word by word with another PDF file across every page. Removed text is marked in red and added text in blue, and each difference comes with a comment for quick review. Progress is shown with a Cancel button; comparison marks are not printed and never end up in exported PDF files. Clear Comparison Results removes all marks.

PDFVertical, Side by Side and Multiple Pages views

The View › Page Movement group offers Vertical (one page per row), Side by Side (two pages) and Multiple Pages ▾ (several pages per row), with large, centered page images that make it easy to skim long documents. Double-click a page or click the button again to return to the editing view.

Improvements 2

General“Shape Format” contextual tab

When you select a shape, the contextual tab that appears is now called Shape Format in all four apps, so it no longer shares a name with the permanent Draw tab. In MORA PDF, the contextual tab for form controls is renamed Form Design to set it clearly apart from the Forms tab.

GeneralReorganized Insert and Review tabs

The 3D Models ▾ button now sits in the Illustrations group; in MORA Doc and PDF, the Chart command has moved into the ▾ menu of the Object button. The Review tab in MORA Sheet gains a Language group containing the Translate button. On 1280-pixel-wide screens, the Review tab in all four apps still shows every group in full, with nothing collapsed.

Fixes 2

WindowsFonts kept in place when upgrading from an earlier version

When upgrading from O3O Office or a previous MORA Office release, the old installer removed and then recopied the bundled fonts, so text using those fonts stayed invisible until you signed out or restarted. The installer now keeps the fonts in place throughout the upgrade, and text displays normally right after installation with no restart needed. Uninstalling still removes the fonts cleanly, and if installation fails partway, the computer is rolled back to its previous state.

Slide“Non-printing” objects no longer appear in exported PDFs

In MORA Slide and MORA PDF, objects set as non-printing used to show up in exported PDF files. They are now excluded from PDFs, just as they are when printing.

Security 2

GeneralStrengthened security when opening 3D model files

Security has been strengthened when inserting 3D model files from unknown sources, such as email attachments: the app strictly validates the structure and size of the data in the file, and reads only supporting files located in the same folder as the model.

GeneralSafety limits for ink comment data

Ink data read from files is limited in size, point count and image dimensions, so unfamiliar or damaged documents cannot cause the app to hang or close unexpectedly.
